The School of Forestry is committed to assisting students in finding internships, seasonal positions, and full-time employment. We provide career counseling and job placement to complement academic classroom learning with hands-on professional experience.


We offer:

  • One-on-one appointments for job searching.
  • Workshops on identifying employment skills, preparing resumes, cover letters, job applications, and strengthening interviewing skills.
  • Continually updated Forestry Job Postings.
  • Mock interviews with local professionals willing to mentor students and provide career advice.  

In our Charles O. Minor Study Center (room 003) you can:

  • Obtain handouts on how to develop resumes and cover letters.
  • Learn how to apply for a government job.
  • Find sample questions to practice and prepare for an interview.
  • Pick up career resource materials, books, and flyers.
