The School of Forestry is committed to assisting students in finding
internships, seasonal positions, and full-time employment. We provide career
counseling and job placement to complement academic classroom learning with
hands-on professional experience.
We offer:
- One-on-one appointments for job searching.
- Workshops on identifying employment skills, preparing resumes, cover
letters, job applications, and strengthening interviewing skills.
- Continually updated Forestry Job Postings.
- Mock interviews with local professionals willing to mentor students and
provide career advice.
In our Charles O. Minor Study Center (room 003) you can:
- Obtain handouts on how to develop resumes and cover letters.
- Learn how to apply for a government job.
- Find sample questions to practice and prepare for an interview.
- Pick up career resource materials, books, and flyers.
