The NAU School of Forestry is committed to enhancing our graduate's writing skills by supporting a "Writing Across the Curriculum" initiative in which undergraduates experience increasingly challenging writing projects throughout their undergraduate core course work.

To assist students in their writing development, the SoF provides a Writing Tutor to help with all parts of the writing process from generating ideas to revising. The SoF Writing Tutor provides assistance in improving the overall quality and clarity of lab reports, research papers, and other forestry-related assignments.
