Madison, IN.  James F. D. Lanier House, built 1840-1844.  (Francis Costigan, architect).  This is a good example of high-style Greek Revival, where the owner was wealthy enough to "pull out all the stops" with the impressive detail of Greek Revival ornamentation.

Wilmington, N.C. (Photo by Dr. Stan Swartz)

Madison, IN.  Colby-Lanier House, built 1839.  This building has also been recorded by HABS.

Hazardville, CT.

Somers, CT.

Enfield, CT.

Maysville, KY.  Bank of Maysville, established 1835.  Is this the original bank building?  How can you tell?  Also note the "historic" street lamp on the right, a tell-tale sign that this bank is located in a Maysville "historic district".
